Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival 2026

The Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival takes place from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 November 2026, with public talks and literary events at the Garrison Library and other historic venues in Gibraltar. The programme and ticket booking are now available.

Three additional Garrison Library sessions take place on Tuesday 10 November: Richard Garcia MBE on Gibraltarians at War: Useless Mouths at 10am; Nhean Haynes de Domecq on Rock Cakes and Other Delights with Jennifer Ballantine Perera at noon; and Richenda Power on The Clown and the Dancer with Jennifer Ballantine Perera at 2pm. These sessions have open seating, £13 standard tickets and £9 senior/student tickets.

Other advertised events include Manolo Galliano’s library tour and a candlelight concert with John Suchet and the Straits Philharmonic Orchestra on 9 November, plus Grant Harrold’s afternoon tea and local-author Lightning Talks on 10 November. Venues, prices and availability vary by session; select the intended event in the booking programme.

Senior concessions are for ages 60+, and student concessions for ages 18 and under. Additional booking charges may apply. Hearing loops are provided. Attendance includes consent to organiser photographs and filming for promotional use worldwide in perpetuity. Tickets are normally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, subject to the seller’s cancellation, rescheduling and material-change provisions; booking fees are excluded from refunds.
