SSAFA Barefoot & Battle Tournament

Barefoot & Battle brings a beach hockey tournament to Sandy Bay in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

SSAFA Gibraltar is working with Gibraltar Beach Hockey, Gibraltar Hockey and the Gibraltar Sports & Leisure Authority on a day of sport, sunshine and community spirit. The event is open to experienced players and complete beginners, with kids, families, friends, workplaces, military units and sports clubs all invited to take part.

The day begins with morning sessions led by GSLA and Gibraltar Beach Hockey, giving young people the opportunity to practise skills, learn more about the sport and try beach hockey in a supportive setting. The event then includes kids, family and senior tournaments.
