Throughout history Gibraltar has been unsuccessfully targeted by many forces, trying to take advantage of its unique position as the bridge between Europe, Africa & the Mediterranean Sea. The most notable was the Great Siege of 1779 where Spanish & French armies were kept at bay by the British forces. Up until this day Gibraltar has held firm & defended itself, but now is your time to see if you can conquer the Rock’s defences.
Gibraltar Under Siege is a 3-stage, 2-day multi-terrain running race that will test the fitness, skill & resolve of even the most ardent of competitors. Runners will be tested round the peninsula taking in the numerous features & landmarks that make Gibraltar stand out.
