Walks Through History Summer Programme 2026

Walks Through History Summer Programme 2026 Gibraltar

The Gibraltar National Museum's Walks Through History summer programme gives children aged 9 to 12 a guided introduction to Gibraltar's heritage through a different historic location or theme each Wednesday morning.

The walks run from 10:00 to 11:30 unless otherwise stated. Participation is free, but advance booking is essential because places are limited. Parents and guardians may accompany children, although children receive priority where capacity is limited.

  • 15 July: Discover the History of Rosia and Camp Bay
  • 22 July: Gibraltar's Impressive City Walls
  • 29 July: Secrets of the WWII Tunnels
  • 5 August: Neanderthals and Dolphins, a boat tour of the Gorham's Cave Complex. This tour begins at 09:00 and every child must be accompanied by an adult.
  • 12 August: Explore the 18th Century Great Siege Tunnels
  • 19 August: Timekeepers of the Rock, exploring the Gibraltar National Museum
  • 26 August: Discover the Moorish Castle from top to bottom
