British Forces Gibraltar, Ministry of Defence, is recruiting an EO Establishment Fire Focal Point.

Essential requirements

• Two A Levels or equivalent, grade C or above.
• GCSE English or equivalent, grade C or above.
• Certificate in Fire Safety Advisor, to be completed within three months of taking up the post; training courses are at the Fire College in the UK.
• Class B driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience of safety, health, environmental or fire issues within an organisation.
• Experience of assurance (1LoD) checking and of the Ministry of Defence.
• Relevant experience providing technical advice on fire-related issues.
• Effective stakeholder management at all levels, internal and external.
• IOSH Managing Safety.
