Visit the home of Gibraltar Gin

The Spirit of the Rock distillery produces a unique hand crafted gin called Campion, after the iconic flower which grows wild on top of the Rock … and nowhere else on earth.

It’s a London Dry Gin packing a punch at 48% ABV: as high as we think you dare go without losing the full flavour profile.

Well rounded with a good balance between base notes of Juniper and Coriander, the citrus notes, of orange and lemongrass, and the spices of cassia, cinnamon, and cardamom.

Base notes of Juniper and Coriander, the citrus notes, of orange and lemongrass, and the spices of cassia, cinnamon, and cardamom.

A flourish of Moroccan rose buds elevates the profile, which is finished by the carob pods natural creaminess. Best served cool with a slice or zest of orange.

It is strong, smooth, and sophisticated, and is the only genuine Spirit of the Rock, that is made in Gibraltar.

Distillery and Tasting Tours

For a memorable and enjoyable way to spend an hour, why not book a place on one of our tours.

Meet Athena, our 100 litre copper still, see and smell the botanicals we use to make Campion Gin, taste different types of gin in context with historical facts about Gibraltar.

An experience not to be missed. We are wheelchair friendly but you must be over 18 years old to attend a tour.

Bespoke Tours, Blending Courses and Bottles

We can arrange personally tailored tours for wedding parties or corporate clients wishing to offer something special for their clients or staff.

Blending courses to create your own unique gin, or as a gift for that special occasion. Engraving bottles, creating vouchers, wedding favours or bespoke labelling: nothing is too much trouble.

Interesting Fact

8 George’s Lane was first cited in the records soon after 1704 when the British and the Dutch took possession of the Rock, emboldened by their ration of “Dutch courage” aka Gin.

Working with our Community

Many local shops, restaurants and hotels have embraced our locally made products, have attended the tour and fully understand the dedication and skill that goes into making our small batch, hand crafted spirits.

They can offer you a discount off your next purchase of Campion in exchange for a returned bottle and stopper.

When in Gibraltar don’t just ask for Gin, ask for Campion, all the best bars and restaurants stock it. Cheers! ... Respect - Reuse - Return - Reduce - Recycle

Brilliant "Gibraltar Gin Experience" tour at this quirky and unique micro-distillery. Peter was an entertaining and extremely knowledgeable host and the whole event was extremely interesting and enjoyable. The tastings of "gins through the ages" were a prelude to an excellent and large cocktail of choice (ours was a "JC" - John Collins) and the event was rounded off by the opportunity of buying ...

Knowledgeable and pleasant. An enjoyable experience.

Excellent experience. Very good explanation and Peter very friendly.

Translated

Excellent knowledge of the history of gin. Really informative and good fun with a large one to finish and a sample of our favourite to take away. Good fun for a couple of hours.

Amazing experience, great story!
