Gibraltar National Museum is hiring an Archaeologist for commercial archaeology projects in Gibraltar.
The role is aimed at a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who can contribute to excavation, recording, and wider project work across a varied range of commercial assignments. The museum is looking for someone with a good honours degree in archaeology, practical fieldwork experience, and the ability to prepare archaeological or cultural heritage desk studies and environmental impact assessments.
Additional advantages include knowledge of Gibraltar's archaeology and history, familiarity with Gibraltar or UK planning systems, GIS or Historic Environment Record experience, and membership of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists or a commitment to join.
