About the Trainers Luke Walsh
Luke is a Partner at PwC Gibraltar with more than 15 years’ experience across a wide range of industries and practice areas. He leads the firm’s Advisory offering, specialising in financial reporting and technical accounting. Luke has extensive experience supporting clients in sectors such as banking, funds, property development, investments and crypto, giving him a broad and up‑to‑date perspective on how FRS 102 is applied in different business models. His focus is on turning complex technical requirements into clear, practical guidance that finance teams can use in their day‑to‑day work.
Alan Rigney
Alan is an ACCA‑qualified Manager in PwC Gibraltar’s CTAS department with over 8 years’ experience in financial reporting, tax compliance and advisory services in regulated industries.
As the department’s Digital Lead, Alan focuses on process optimisation and the use of technology to enhance reporting quality and efficiency. He has hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Xero, Workiva and AI solutions, and brings a practical, efficiency‑driven lens to implementing FRS 102 requirements in real finance environments.
