Summer Book Club 2026 is a free summer reading programme for children aged 8 and over, taking place at the John Mackintosh Hall Library every Wednesday from 15 July to 26 August, between 11am and 12pm.
Designed to encourage children to read for enjoyment during the summer holidays, the club offers a lively and creative space where young readers can discover new books, take part in fun activities and contribute to the creation of an e-magazine.
The programme combines reading, imagination and group participation, making it an engaging opportunity for children to build confidence, share ideas and enjoy books in a relaxed library setting.
Spaces can be booked by emailing jmhlibrary@culture.gov.gi or calling +350 20078000.
