British Forces Gibraltar is recruiting a Pest Control Technician Skill Zone 3 on a fixed-term appointment for two years.

Salary: £26,390 per annum.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Qualified RSPH Level 2 or BPCA Foundation Certificate.
• Ability to complete CPD refresher courses and keep up to date with relevant legislation, techniques and procedural changes.
• Willingness to complete mandatory courses directed by CoC and HQBF.
• Basic Food Safety and Hygiene Course.
• Ability to work independently using initiative, with flexibility to meet operational and service demands.
• Physical capability for manual and field-based pest-control duties.
• A proactive, highly motivated approach.
• Class B driving licence.

An equivalent qualification may be considered where it meets the required standard. The successful applicant will be required to obtain the specified qualification after appointment and may need to travel to the UK to complete the necessary course.
