Triay Lawyers is recruiting an experienced and motivated Family & Divorce Lawyer to join its established practice in Gibraltar. The role offers a broad range of matrimonial and family law work, supporting clients through sensitive and often complex personal matters.

The role

You will provide legal advice and representation, manage a varied caseload efficiently and independently, and build strong client relationships through professional and empathetic service. Responsibilities include:

• Advising on divorce and judicial separation.
• Advising on financial matters and financial relief applications.
• Advising on child arrangements, including maintenance, contact, relocation and parental responsibility.
• Handling adoption and surrogacy matters.
• Drafting court documents, agreements and legal correspondence.
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the family and divorce practice.

About you

• Gibraltar qualification as a barrister or solicitor, or an equivalent legal professional qualification.
• Three years' post-qualification experience in matrimonial and family law. More experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical knowledge of family law principles and procedures.
• Excellent advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills.
• A compassionate, client-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a collaborative team.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• High standards of professionalism, discretion and integrity.
